The Festival for a CAUSE
Despite all of the incredible memories created at Port Fish DayS, we can’t forget the purpose fulfilled from also being one of the largest fundraisers in the community! We are honored to catch the tradition once again, and are strongly encouraging others to help support the cause. Bring your friends and family members to this event for an unforgettable time!
Port Fish DayS wouldn’t exist without our amazing team of volunteers!

Established in 1964, Port Washington, Wisconsin’s Fish Day festival was once
“the Largest One-Day Outdoor Fish Fry”
in the United States!
Reimagined in 2023, Port Fish DayS is organized by a Volunteer Ambassador committee and presents as a three day festival that is more than just food, music and fun. Port Fish DayS is a financial lifeline for area civic organizations that run the fish and chips stands throughout the day, just as they have since 1964.
The stand’s profits are turned back to the community in a variety of ways, including Rotary Park, the harbor walk that leads to the grounds, Kiwanis Pavilion and the marina’s fish cleaning stations. Many contributions to the community are not as easy to see, but they are part of the quality of life of Port Washington. Scholarships, recreational programs, assistance for people who have met life-challenging problems, scout troops, and a variety of other causes will continue to be beneficiaries of Port Fish DayS.
Join us
every 3rd Thursday, Friday and Saturday in July
& catch the tradition!
